Apple today announced a new yellow color for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, expanding the color options of the company’s latest iPhone. The new yellow color option will be available for pre-order starting Friday, March 10, with shipments beginning on Tuesday, March 14.
The new yellow color option joins midnight, starlight, (PRODUCT) RED, blue, and purple in the line-up and is similar to the yellow color option previously offered with the iPhone XR. Apple describes the new yellow color as an “exciting addition” to the iPhone lineup.
“People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do, and now there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus,” Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Producing Marketing Bob Borchers said. “The extraordinary battery life, lightweight design, pro-level camera and video features, groundbreaking safety capabilities like Emergency SOS via satellite, and all iOS 16 has to offer to make iPhone 14 a great option for anyone in the market for a new iPhone,” he continued.

Ever since April 2021, Apple has started to offer a spring color refresh for its latest iPhone. Last year, the company introduced green and Alpine Green for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, respectively. Purple was the spring color refresh for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 a year prior.
Alongside the new yellow color option, Apple also released four new colors for its silicone cases for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, including canary yellow, olive, sky, and iris. No new color or case options for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max have been announced.
