Wix, the popular website builder, has once again partnered with Stripe to allow for Tap to Pay on iPhone in the United States. This allows Wix Payment users to securely and effortlessly accept any contactless payment directly on their iPhone without the need for external hardware or a Point of Sale system.

To use Tap to Pay on iPhone with Wix, all you need is the Wix Owner app, a Wix Payments account, an iPhone XR or above, and iOS 15.5 or above.

According to Wix, Tap to Pay on iPhone is perfect for any business, whether it is a retail store, a business on the go, or for bookings and events. Tap to Pay on iPhone is protected by the same technology as Apple Pay; it can validate payment cards and also read and issue loyalty cards using NFC.

The partnership between Wix and Stripe will give many more businesses a chance to use Tap to Pay on iPhone, and it joins existing apps for Tap to Pay on iPhone, such as Shopify and Square, to name a few. Wix has been offering Stripe as a payment provider to Wix users, so websites can easily be set up to support credit and debit cards, and the partnership has enabled Stripe Terminal so Wix users can have in-person payments.
