3D-printed dummy units of the iPhone 15 lineup were showcased in a new video shared by Japanese-language website Mac Otakara. The website claims that the models sourced from Alibaba provide the most accurate real-life dimensions of the next iPhone lineup to date.
In the 11-minute long video, 3D-printed units of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max are depicted, providing yet another look at the expected design changes for this year’s lineup. So far, these include thinner bezels, slightly curved edges, and bigger camera bumps. All models are expected to ship with the Dynamic Island, and the Lightning port is expected to be forgone in favor of USB-C.
Mac Otakara also tested the dummy units with cases designed for the iPhone 14 lineup. As expected, the slightly altered physical dimensions of the devices mean that current cases won’t fit on the iPhone 15 models, with the exception of the 15 Plus, which seemingly did fit iPhone 14 Plus cases.

iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are expected to feature even thinner bezels with an overall more curved chassis than the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, which are set to adopt minimal design changes over the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. The Pro’s USB-C port is expected to support at least USB 3.2 connectivity, whereas the base offerings could stick with older USB 2.0 transfer speeds. The Pro models are also expected to feature solid-state volume and power buttons, much like the iPhone 7’s haptic home button.
