The anonymous source, who keeps teasing software features planned for WWDC, is back with new tidbits. In a tweet, @analyst941 outlined a few improvements Apple plans for iPadOS 17 with Stage Manager when connected with an external monitor. These supposedly include:
- Native webcam support on a connected external monitor
- Control audio output source, whether from the iPad’s or the monitor’s speakers
- Simultaneous playback of multiple audio/video streams with Stage Manager enabled
- Resizable dock option viewable on connected monitor only
- Clamshell-like mode akin to MacBooks
The leaker previously teased new feature slates for Apple’s suite of software releases. These include Health and Wallet apps overhaul, Control Center redesign, and more.
