Apple’s newly-announced 15-inch MacBook Air, Mac Studio with M2 Ultra, and Mac Pro with Apple silicon are now available to order today through Apple’s online store. All new Macs will begin shipping to customers starting Tuesday, June 13.

The new laptop features a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display, the biggest ever for a MacBook Air. An M2 chip powers the new laptop just like the 13-inch MacBook Air and entry-level MacBook Pro. Its bigger footprint also allows it to pack in a bigger battery enabling up to 18 hours of battery life.

The 15-inch MacBook Air features the M2 chip, which can be configured with up to 10-core GPU and up to 24GB of unified memory. All configurations sport an 8-core CPU with four high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores.

The new Mac Studio comes with M2 Max and the just announced M2 Ultra chip. Apple reports that the M2 Max in Mac Studio is up to 50% faster than the previous generation Mac Studio in Adobe After Effects and 25% faster at compiling apps in Xcode.

The M2 Ultra Mac Studio is equipped with a 24-core CPU and a 76-core GPU. All Mac Studio M2 Ultra models feature 32 Neural Engine cores. Memory starts at 64GB on the M2 Ultra models, with 128GB and 192GB options available. Apple claims that M2 Ultra is 3x faster than the previous generation M1 Ultra in Octane rendering, and 50% faster at video processing in DaVinci Resolve.

The new Mac Pro is also equipped with the M2 Ultra chip, bringing PCIe expansion for the first time ever to Apple silicon. The new Mac Pro is up to 3x faster than the previous Intel-powered generation. The new desktop machine features seven PCle expansion slots, with six Gen-4 expansion slots.

The new Mac Pro features an expansive array of ports, including eight Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A ports, two HDMI ports, two 10Gb Ethernet ports, and a high-impedance headphone jack. Wireless connectivity is enabled through Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3

The 15-inch MacBook Air starts at $1,299, whereas the Mac Studio starts at $1,999 for the M2 Max model and $3,999 for M2 Ultra. Mac Pro with M2 Ultra starts at $6,999.
