Apple today began releasing iOS 16.6 beta 5 to registered developers, nearly two weeks after seeding the fourth beta for the upcoming update to iOS 16. A public version of this beta is expected sometime this week.
iOS 16.6 is widely expected to be the last version of iOS 16 as Apple ramps up the testing process of iOS 17, the next major software release for iPhone which the company previewed last month at WWDC 2023.
Apple also released new beta builds across the following platforms:

With iOS 16.4, Apple introduced a new method for developers to install betas. Instead of a beta profile, developers must sign in on their testing devices using an Apple ID associated with their Apple Developer Program account. Once signed in, new betas will show up under Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates.
We will keep this article updated with any additional changes that we find in the new beta of iOS 16.6, including references to new features or unreleased products.
