Tim Cook couldn’t help but talk about Apple Vision Pro during a call with investors on Thursday and revealed a little about his addiction to the innovative product.
“There’s enormous excitement around the Vision Pro. We’re excited internally”, Cook mentioned during the call, according to the transcript. “We are now shipping units to the developer community for them to begin working on their apps. And we’re looking forward to shipping early next year. And so we could not be more excited with that. I’m using the product daily.”
It’s no surprise that Tim Cook is using the headset on a daily basis, as the product is designed for both productivity and entertainment. Furthermore, as a flagship product of the “Cook era,” it’s possible that the CEO himself is providing feedback to refine the product before its launch early next year.

Cook’s comment came after an investor tried to get information on the expected revenue of the Vision Pro. “We’re not going to forecast revenues and so forth on the call today,” Tim Cook simply replied.
The call with investors took place after Apple’s fiscal report for its third quarter. Apple reported $81.80 billion in revenue (compared to $83B in the same period last year), net profit of $19.9 billion (compared to $19.4B in the same period last year), and the gross margin of hardware and services stood at 44.5%, up from 43.3% last year.
Apple announced the headset during its WWDC 2023 developer event a few months ago. The product was announced with great fanfare but is still in development, while developers work to bring their current and new apps to the mixed-reality headset. The product will only be available in the US market for a price of $3,499 starting next year.
