Alleged images of a case for the iPhone 15 Pro reaffirm one of the most anticipated changes: the arrival of the Action button, inherited from the Apple Watch Ultra.
The leaker @MajinBuOfficial posted a series of images that correspond to cases manufactured based on the design that the iPhone 15 Pro will have. In these images, the Action Button is seen above the volume buttons, where the mute button has traditionally been located.
MajinBuOfficial says that these cases, although the design resembles Apple’s official models, are replicas of the original product. Interestingly, the leaker also mentions that these are cases for the iPhone 15 “Ultra,” as a hypothetical iPhone 15 that would use that suffix to differentiate it from the Pro models has been referred to at times.
Rumors suggest that the Action button can be configured by each user to perform a specific activity, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra — where users can use it to run an app, a physical activity function, or open a Shortcut.
Apple has not commented on the iPhone 15 Pro, but it won’t be long before we officially get to know this phone and its entire family. According to reports, the iPhone 15 series will be announced in mid-September.
The iPhone 15 Pro is rumored to have, in addition to this new side button, a titanium frame, maximum storage capacity of 2TB, and a 3nm chip made by TSMC.
