WhatsApp for iOS now allows users to share their screens during a video call, a highly utilized feature, especially in work environments.

This new feature is coming to iOS, Android, and the desktop application for Windows; it is unclear whether it will reach users of the Web version and the desktop version for Mac.

The company told TechCrunch that the feature is being rolled out gradually, so not all users will have immediate access. Mark Zuckerberg himself announced the new feature from his Facebook profile.

The platform began testing this feature in late May on Android, according to TechCrunch. WhatsApp, like many other companies, usually tests its features only for some platforms, receives feedback from users, and decides whether to launch it for the rest of the platforms and users.

The screen-sharing function can be accessed from the Share menu within the application. If the tool is already available, users can choose between sharing only one application or the entire screen.

WhatsApp also debuted the option of making a video call in Landscape format in addition to the Portrait mode which was the only one available until now.
