Apple is including a braided USB-C cable in the box with all models of the iPhone 15 lineup following the iPhone’s official transition to USB-C and away from Lightning. Replacing the previous cable, the included USB-C cable is similar to the MacBook’s charger and features a high-quality woven material.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max come in black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium, featuring an all-new, high-grade titanium alloy that’s tougher and lighter than stainless steel. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus come in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black.
The standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus now feature Dynamic Island, first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro last year. The new standard iPhone models are now also powered by the A16 Bionic chip, also from last year’s iPhone 14 Pro. The new models also sport a USB-C port instead of Lightning and upgrades to the camera.

The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max include a more refined design with slightly curved edges that are more comfortable to hold than the flat edges of previous generations. Both high-end iPhones feature the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes as before but with thinner bezels that increase the active area of the display.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are powered by the new A17 Pro chip based on the 3nm process, while the standard models feature the A16 Bionic chip from last year. The iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available for pre-order starting this Friday, September 15, and will begin shipping a week later on Friday, September 22.
