As part of its “Wonderlust” event today, Apple has announced new iCloud+ storage tiers, now maxing out at 12TB.
Apple is still not nudging from its 5GB free iCloud storage that comes standard with every Apple ID account. Instead, the company has toyed with paid iCloud+ storage tiers in the past and is now offering two new options at 6TB and 12TB. The new tiers join the current 50GB, 200GB, and 2TB options.
iCloud+ includes a number of extra features besides additional iCloud storage like iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, and HomeKit Secure Video.
With the introduction of the new tiers, iCloud+ pricing in the United States is as follows:

Similar to current iCloud+ subscription options, the storage capacity in each plan can be shared among a group of up to six individuals using Family Sharing. The expanded iCloud plans are scheduled to be accessible starting from Monday, September 18 alongside the public release of iOS 17.
