Apple just released iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 to the public which is a minor update with bug and security fixes a few weeks after the public release of iOS 17.1.1 and iPadOS 17.1.1.
Users who wish to download and install iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 can do so by navigating to Settings -> General -> Software Update on their iPhones and iPads. Release notes for iOS 17.1.2 are vague, simply indicating that it provides “important security fixes and is recommended for all users.”
Apple also released macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 with similar bug fixes.

In the meantime, the company is preparing the more significant iOS 17.2 update, which just received its fourth beta two days ago. Set to come out in December, iOS 17.2 will introduce a few fresh changes, including the much-awaited Journal app, the new Translate option for the iPhone 15 Pro’s Action button, and 3D Spatial Video capture for Vision Pro.
