Vision Pro App Store is now live ahead of the headset’s launch two weeks from now on February 2. With its launch, the iOS App Store will also begin to show apps that their developers have made compatible to run on Vision Pro.

Apple says that the headset can run visionOS apps specifically made for the headset as well as scaled-up iPad apps that are ported from the iOS App Store. Current iPad apps can easily be ported with no extra work required from their respective developers and will run on Vision Pro as simple 2D panels. Developers will also have the option to opt out of their apps being available on visionOS.

Separately, the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has also granted Vision Pro its approval to be sold and used in the country (via 9to5Mac). Apple has maintained a footnote disclaimer on Vision Pro’s product page and marketing warning that it was yet to receive FCC clearance, but the company is likely to remove this disclaimer soon now that it has received authorization to sell the headset.

Customers will be able to pre-order Vision Pro starting from Friday, January 19, at 5 a.m. PST. Sales will begin two weeks later on Friday, February 2 on Apple.com and all Apple Store locations in the United States.
