Apple has revealed a list of first-party apps that will come pre-installed on Vision Pro as part of visionOS. The list of built-in apps is included on the headset’s tech specs page.
Most of the built-in apps are not new and fairly similar to their counterparts on other Apple operating systems, save for a new spatial user experience for some apps to make the most use of the design paradigm introduced in visionOS. There are also a few new apps made specifically for Vision Pro with no equivalents on other OSes.

Apple is also including some ported iPad apps as part of visionOS as denoted by their square icons. It’s unclear how quickly the company can introduce Vision Pro-tailored versions of those apps. Whether they are ready by visionOS 1.1 or a bigger visionOS 2 release as part of WWDC 2024 remains to be seen.

Earlier this week, Apple announced a round of third-party entertainment and streaming apps coming to Vision Pro at launch. These include Disney+, ESPN, MLB, NBA, HBO Max, Discovery+, TikTok, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, PGA Tour, Tubi, Fubo, Peacock, Crunchyroll, Red Bull TV, IMAX, MUBI, and Pluto TV. Notable omissions so far include Spotify, YouTube, and Netflix.
Vision Pro can be pre-ordered in the United States starting today. Shipments of Apple’s first spatial computer should reach the hands of customers beginning on Friday, February 2. Customers will also be able to buy the headset from all Apple Store retail locations in the US from that date.
