Apple Card tops 12 million users with $1 billion in Daily Cash given out last year

Apple today revealed that 12 million users in the United States possess the Apple Card and have collectively gained as much as $1 billion in Daily Cash rewards throughout 2023.

The company announced the number of Apple Card holders for the first time since it came out in 2019, with as many as 30 percent of that figure using the credit card at least twice per month. In addition, 1 million users rely on Apple Card Family to share their credit cards with other family members, with 600,000 users building credit together by co-using Apple Card.

Apple says that most users today opt to deposit their Daily Cash rewards into their Savings account, which recently received an APY boost to now stand at 4.50 percent. Apple Card also received Bankrate’s 2024 award as the Best Credit Card for Privacy.

Goldman Sachs’s CEO of Enterprise Partnerships Bill Johnson

For the third consecutive year, the Apple Card, in collaboration with issuer Goldman Sachs, has secured the top spot as the Best Co-Branded Credit Card for Customer Satisfaction with No Annual Fee in the J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Credit Card Satisfaction Study. However, this may not be the case for long as Goldman Sachs is reportedly looking to offload its partnership with Apple to another bank as soon as this year.
