Beond, the world’s first proclaimed premium leisure airline, has announced a new perk featuring Apple Vision Pro. Starting in July 2024, select passengers on Beond’s flights to the Maldives will have the exclusive opportunity to experience Apple’s Vision Pro headset, creating a truly immersive inflight entertainment experience.

Apple Vision Pro boasts cutting-edge technology designed to redefine how we consume content. Beond passengers will be able to enjoy their existing inflight entertainment options, including a vast library of movies and games, in a whole new way. Additionally, Beond is collaborating with Maldivian partners to curate stunning footage showcasing the best resorts and activities the island nation has to offer. This immersive content will allow passengers to virtually explore their destination before even landing, further enhancing their travel experience.

The Apple Vision Pro will transform the inflight entertainment experience, and we will be the first to offer it to select passengers. In addition to our existing content library, we will showcase stunning resort destinations and activities in the Maldives. The inflight experience will build anticipation for passengers before they arrive, and offering the Apple Vision Pro is another step in our vision of delivering a premium travel experience from start to finish. We’re proud to be the first airline to deploy this innovative technology.

Tero Taskila, Beond Chairman and CEO

This announcement comes on the heels of Beond’s successful launch of commercial passenger services in 2023, connecting travelers from Munich, Zurich, and Riyadh to Malé, Maldives. The airline is set to expand its network further in mid-2024, launching new routes from Milan, Dubai, and Bangkok, all featuring their signature all-lay flat seating configuration for ultimate comfort.

Beond’s announcement signifies a commitment to pushing the boundaries of inflight entertainment and offering passengers an unparalleled travel experience. By embracing cutting-edge technology and collaborating with leading brands, Beond is poised to redefine premium leisure travel for the modern adventurer.
