Apple has today announced that the 2024 edition of the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place from Monday, June 10 to Friday, June 14. The WWDC 2024 inaugural keynote will take place on Monday, June 10 where iOS 18 and more will be unveiled.

WWDC 2024 will be a free-for-all and held virtually as was the case with several past WWDC events. The headlining keynote will occur on Monday, June 10, at 10 AM Pacific Time. The keynote will be available to stream for free through YouTube, the Apple Events website, and the Apple TV app.

We’re so excited to connect with developers from around the world for an extraordinary week of technology and community at WWDC24. WWDC is all about sharing new ideas and providing our amazing developers with innovative tools and resources to help them make something even more wonderful.

Susan Prescott, VP of Worldwide Developer Relations

Apple is strongly expected to unveil its work on generative AI at WWDC 2024. The new AI features are expected to be the main talking point of iOS 18, with AI reportedly spanning areas like Siri, Spotlight Search, Messages, Apple Music, Keynote, and Xcode. iOS 18 will also usher in a much-needed redesign for the iPhone’s interface that could make the update one of the biggest in the device’s history. WWDC 2024 will see other software releases including iPadOS 18, visionOS 2, macOS 15, watchOS 11, and more.

Like WWDC 2023, this year’s event will include a small in-person component, where developers, select press members, and invited students will be hosted at a special all-day Apple Park event on Monday, June 10. Attendees will watch the pre-recorded keynote and State of the Union. In addition, attendees will get to meet some of Apple’s engineers and attend the Apple Design Awards ceremony, alongside other activities. Spaces will be limited and randomly allocated, however, and prospective attendees can apply to attend through the Apple Developer website.

Additional relevant information for developers will be shared in due time through email, the Apple Developer app, and the Apple Developer website
