Apple is preparing to shake up the offered color options with the upcoming iPhone 16 lineup as two new colors could be added, according to the reliable Ming-Chi Kuo.

Kuo outlined his expectations for the iPhone 16 color range in a new post on X. According to Kuo, the iPhone 16 Pro will gain a new rose color option alongside updates to existing colors. The White Titanium option on today’s iPhone 15 Pro could be slightly changed to a more silver-like finish, while the Natural Titanium color could adopt a more greyish hue.

Kuo’s expectations for the iPhone 16 Pro match an earlier report detailing the new rose option as a replacement for the Blue Titanium finish, seemingly failing to capture customers’ attention. The report also described changes to the Natural Titanium and White Titanium finishes, with a separate report referring to the rumored rose finish as “Desert Titanium” owing to its gold shade.

Apple is also preparing color changes for the base iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The company is rumored to drop the yellow finish from the iPhone 15 in favor of a white one, though Kuo adds that it might carry a new name akin to the “Starlight” option on previous iPhone generations. The remaining colors, including black, green, pink, and blue, will be retained from the iPhone 15 to the iPhone 16.

As it stands, color options across the iPhone 16 lineup could look something like this:

  • iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max: Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium/Gray Titanium, Rose Titanium/Desert Titanium
  • iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus: Black, Green, Pink, Blue, White
