The Weather app on iPhone and other Apple devices appears to be down for an increasing number of users, with many reporting that they are unable to load current weather information.
UPDATE: Apple has updated its System Status to reflect the ongoing issue. Apple says that all users are affected by the current Weather bug. Separately, local precipitation information for Alaska is temporarily unavailable due to a “data provider outage.”
Apple’s System Status webpage is yet to be updated to indicate any ongoing problems with the Weather app. However, its status is very likely to be updated soon if issues persist and spread to more users.
