Apple Vision Pro international launch to begin on June 28

As part of its WWDC 2024 presentation, Apple officially confirmed that Vision Pro will be available in more countries and regions beyond the United States from June 28.

Apple Vision Pro will first launch in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. Pre-orders in these countries will begin on Thursday, June 13, with in-store availability and order deliveries commencing on Friday, June 28. On the same day, customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom will get to pre-order Vision Pro. In-store availability in these countries will begin on Friday, July 12.

The enthusiasm for Apple Vision Pro has been extraordinary, and we are thrilled to introduce the magic of spatial computing to more customers around the world. We can’t wait for more people to see the impossible become possible, whether working and collaborating with an infinite canvas for apps, reliving treasured memories in three dimensions, watching TV shows and movies in a one-of-a-kind personal cinema, or enjoying brand-new spatial experiences that defy imagination.

In preparation for the headset’s international launch, visionOS 1.2 adds support for languages in these countries. Prospective customers will also be able to book 30-minute session demos to try on the headset across all Apple Store locations in countries where the headset is scheduled to go on sale.

Later this year, Vision Pro customers around the world will get to upgrade to visionOS 2 for free. visionOS 2 includes numerous improvements to the Vision Pro experience with features like new gestures, Travel Mode for trains, Guest User enrollment, ultra-wide Mac Virtual Display, and more.
