Apple could announce the first crop of M4 Mac models as soon as next week alongside Apple Intelligence, according to a new post on X from Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.
It remains to be seen whether Apple is planning a dedicated event for the new Macs, but the company could instead opt to reveal the new computers via a press release next week. In a further post, Gurman also claims that Apple has begun inviting select media members to a hands-on event on Wednesday, October 30.
This suggests Apple could hold an M4 Mac event earlier that week or on the day itself. However, the company is yet to send out official event invitations as of the time of writing, with time quickly running out. As such, a press release to announce the new M4 Mac models sounds likelier by the day.

Beyond the announcement, the new M4 Mac models are set to be available for customers to order and buy from November, with availability set to be available from either Friday, November 1, or one week later.
Apple is believed to release at least three new M4 Mac models momentarily, spanning refreshed iMac and MacBook Pro lineups, and an all-new Mac mini desktop with a physical design and dimensions close to the Apple TV. Apple will also announce the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips to power the higher-end configurations of the MacBook Pro.
