Apple today began releasing iOS 18.1.1 and iPadOS 18.1.1 to the public three weeks after it issued the iOS 18.1 update on Monday, October 28. Today’s minor update brings various security and bug fixes to iPhone and iPad users.
In addition to iOS 18.1.1 and iPadOS 18.1.1, Apple also issued the following minor updates:
- macOS Sequoia 15.1.1
- visionOS 2.1.1
Users who wish to download and install iOS 18.1.1 and iPadOS 18.1.1 can do so by navigating to Settings -> General -> Software Update on their iPhone and iPad devices. iOS 18.1.1 is not expected to introduce notable changes or features, but will most likely be limited to patching bugs and other potential security exploits.
