Apple is expected to announce the iPhone SE 4 and the 11th-generation entry-level iPad by April and before iOS 18.4 is released, writes Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman.
In a new post on X, Gurman refutes a rumor that the iPhone SE 4 and the new iPad are expected to be announced by the end of this month. Instead, Apple plans for these devices to be announced sometime by April and before the release of iOS 18.4, which is expected to include significant Siri improvements as announced during last year’s WWDC.
Apple plans to announce other products around the same time as the iPhone SE 4 and the new iPad. The M4 MacBook Air is anticipated to be announced soon, with the company also working on a smart home command center. While the new MacBook Air and iPad are expected to be nothing more than a spec bump and other minor changes, the iPhone SE 4 is set to receive its biggest overhaul since its introduction.
The device will reportedly sport a new iPhone 14-like design with Face ID while nixing the Home button, a 6.1-inch display, and Apple Intelligence support. The device could also be the first iPhone and Apple device ever to feature the company’s in-house 5G modem.
