Apple has edited its initial primetime iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus ad to fix sloppy mistakes that were seen in the original version of the ad. The errors included an iPhone shown during the video with nearly no bezel and no hole-punch and pill-shaped cutout on the front.
Eagle-eyed viewers noticed the uncharacteristically sloppy editing for Apple’s iPhone 15 ad following its Wonderlust event last month. The mistakes were hard to miss if you were paying attention, and users on X were quick to point them out.
In one frame of the video, an iPhone is shown with no nearly no top bezel. In other scenes, the Dynamic Island, hole-punch, and pill-shaped cutouts are missing or wrongly presented as entirely software. As noticed on X this week, Apple has gone back and fixed the mistakes in the original video on YouTube. Large channels like Apple can edit and replace videos without changing the upload date and time.
