Apple today began distributing the seventh watchOS 11 beta to registered developers. watchOS 11 beta 7 comes one week after the company issued the sixth beta to developers on Monday, August 12.
In addition to watchOS 11 beta 7, Apple has also issued the seventh beta builds for:
- iOS 18
- iPadOS 18
- tvOS 18
- macOS Sequoia 15
- visionOS 2
How to install watchOS 11 beta 7
Last year, Apple introduced a new method to install betas. Now, devices enrolled with a linked Apple Developer Program account or those who signed up with their Apple ID on Apple Developer will see a new menu in the Apple Watch app on iOS under General -> Software Update that allows users to opt into receiving beta updates. Devices that aren’t enrolled and linked to an Apple Developer account won’t see the menu and therefore aren’t able to install any new beta.
