The iPhone 15 lineup is a few months away from the typical September unveiling, yet more details from next year’s iPhone 16 lineup keep leaking. 9to5Mac was able to get their hands on preliminary CAD models from Sonny Dickson for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, using them to create renders depicting the larger and taller 6.9-inch display.
The renders showcase the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a larger 6.9-inch display, rumored earlier by trusted display analyst Ross Young of DSCC. Per the CAD models, the display will grow bigger without adding much width to the device, thanks to what appears to be a taller aspect ratio than the current 19.5:9.
The approximate width of the iPhone 16 Pro Max will grow by roughly 0.5mm compared to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, whereas its height will significantly increase by as much as 5mm. 9to5Mac also shared the rough dimensions of the CAD models allegedly belonging to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, providing the device’s approximate width and height:
