Apple Vision Pro went up for pre-ordering in the United States today. The company also revealed additional details surrounding the product, including extra storage configurations over the introductory 256GB option.
According to Apple, customers can order Vision Pro in either 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options. The 512GB configuration will set customers back $3,699, whereas the top-of-the-line 1TB alternative will start at a whopping $3,899. AppleCare+ coverage is priced at $499.
Apple also confirmed Vision Pro tech specs. As expected earlier, the headset features an M2 chip with an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine, in addition to 16GB of unified memory. The R1 chip has a 256GB/s memory bandwidth for a “12-millisecond photon-to-photon latency,” meaning that images on the Vision Pro’s dual 4K displays are updated every 12 milliseconds.
