Apple is inviting selecting Apple Store team members in France to attend a special training session for a new product at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, likely to be for Vision Pro ahead of the product launch in France.

According to a report from WatchGeneration (via Consomac), the training sessions will take place sometime in the middle of this year, which could be around the summer or closer to the back-to-school season in the fall. Apple held similar training sessions for its US retail store team members ahead of the headset’s launch in February. The specific dates for the training sessions are unknown, but a launch of Vision Pro in France and other countries in the fall is entirely plausible.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated Vision Pro will launch in more countries before WWDC, set to kick off on Monday, June 10th. Recent hints from visionOS suggest Vision Pro could launch next in France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Singapore, and Japan. Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed Vision Pro will also launch in China this year.

If a launch of Vision Pro is planned for the fall, Apple could use its platform at WWDC 2024 to announce Vision Pro’s expansion to more counties alongside the announcement of visionOS 2. WWDC is expected to include the announcement of visionOS 2, alongside iOS 18, macOS 15, and watchOS 11.
