Apple’s recent “Scary Fast” event, which announced the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro and M3 Max chips, as well as the new iMac with the M3 chip, was shot entirely on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and edited on a Mac. This is the first time that Apple has disclosed this information about its product launch presentations.
This is a significant achievement, as it demonstrates the capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Mac in terms of cinematic video and photo editing. The event footage itself looked identical in quality to the company’s past digital events, featuring creative transitions, smooth and sharp detail, and vibrant colors throughout.
During the event, the company announced three new chips: the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max. The M3 chip now powers the entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro, replacing the 13-inch MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar. The M3 Pro and M3 Max options of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro now come in a Space Black finish.
