Apple has reportedly delayed many planned iOS 19 features to spring 2026 as part of what is presumed to be iOS 19.4, reports Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman in the latest edition of the Power On newsletter.
Per the report, Apple has already decided to push more-than-expected features from launching in September 2025 to spring 2026 as part of the iOS 19.4 update. While details of the postponed features remain slim, the delay could represent an internal change within Apple to stagger the release of new features across more updates to reduce bugs and improve performance.
One iOS 19 feature expected to be available by spring 2026 is an all-new LLM-powered Siri. The report describes the initiative as a chatbot-like makeover of the digital assistant, making it more conversational to mimic the behavior of popular rivals like ChatGPT. This would be the second big update to Siri in one year as the company intends to enable advanced features like precise in-app controls onscreen awareness, and personal context understanding through iOS 18.4 by spring 2025.
