The life of iTunes Movie Trailers comes to an end as Apple migrates its functionality to the TV app so that users can watch trailers in one place, according to a MacRumors report.

The website, as well as the iOS app, already indicate that “the new home” of iTunes Movie Trailers is the Apple TV app. Some users in the United States have also begun to see a new section with the design language of iTunes Movie Trailers, but called “Movie & TV Trailers” on the Apple TV, MacRumors reports.

This is the text users can read in the trailers website

Apple announced iTunes Movie Trailers in 2011 as a service to watch trailers for content available in the iTunes store. However, currently the page and application seem abandoned. The site looks outdated compared to other Apple pages, and the app has not received a single update since November 2017.

MacRumors does not reveal exactly what the fate of the service will be – whether the web page and app will disappear or simply be forgotten. Supercharged contacted Apple for more information; we will update this article if we get a response.
