Apple may have already filmed its Guided Tour video walkthrough for the iPhone 15 lineup at an Apple Store in Mexico, according to a TikTok video first spotted by 9to5Mac.
Guided Tour is an extended tutorial walkthrough that Apple releases on its YouTube channel a few hours after the conclusion of an iPhone’s announcement keynote. The company adopted this strategy with the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, during which an actor in an Apple Store uniform breaks down the new iPhone’s lineup, demonstrating each model’s new features and capabilities as he strolls around in the city.
TikTok creator Cris Martínez uploaded a video on August 4 in which Apple has apparently closed down the surroundings of its Antara retail location in Mexico City for what seems to be the production of a video shoot. Strikingly, Martínez was able to confirm the attendance of the same actor pictured above who also presented the two previous Guided Tour videos of the then newly-announced iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 lineups.

9to5Mac notes that Apple filmed the iPhone 13 Guided Tour at its Tower Theatre store in Los Angeles with the same actor from the iPhone 14 Guided Tour who also appears in the TikTok video from Martínez. The iPhone 14 Guided Tour was shot at the Upper West Side Apple Store location in New York. Moreover, 9to5Mac adds that two of Apple’s recent advertising campaigns – WWDC23’s opening video and the “Hello Yellow” ad for the iPhone 14 – were also shot in the streets of Mexico.
iPhone 15 Specs
With the iPhone 15 lineup’s announcement reportedly less than three weeks away, Apple is expected to expand Dynamic Island, first introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro last year, to all models of the 2023 iPhone lineup. The company is also rumored to replace the Lightning port with USB-C across the entire lineup to comply with EU laws, in addition to expanding the 48MP main camera sensor to the non-Pro iPhone 15 models alongside other camera improvements.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will introduce several exclusive features, including a periscope zoom lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, significantly thinner bezels thanks to a new LIPO process, a new titanium chassis with subtly curved edges to replace stainless steel, Action Button in lieu of the mute switch, and the next-generation 3nm A17 Bionic chip.
