Apple is rumored to be preparing a green color for the upcoming iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, and new leaks from X suggests that the alleged new color will in fact be a light green one.
According to images shared by X leaker Majin Bu and corroborated by @URedditor, a light green color is in the works for the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus as evident by new images containing what appears to be multiple USB-C connector components for the non-Pro iPhones.
Bu also provided images of physical models created by third parties that depict how the light green finish could look on the iPhone 15, which appears to resemble the light green color option that Apple introduced with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in 2020.
However, Bu has cast some doubts about whether the rumored color will launch with the iPhone 15 next month or be reserved for a half-cycle spring refresh like the yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Other colors that were previously rumored for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus include pink, blue, yellow, orange, and midnight.
iPhone 15 Specs
Apple is expected to expand Dynamic Island, first introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro last year, to all models of the 2023 iPhone lineup. The company is also rumored to replace the Lightning port with USB-C across the entire lineup to comply with EU laws, in addition to expanding the 48MP main camera sensor to the non-Pro iPhone 15 models alongside other camera improvements.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will introduce several exclusive features, including a periscope zoom lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, significantly thinner bezels thanks to a new LIPO process, a new titanium chassis with subtly curved edges to replace stainless steel, Action Button in lieu of the mute switch, and next-generation 3nm A17 Bionic chip.
